Here are the cliff notes regarding our visit with our kids. I went to Epic Waters on Saturday 11/23, the weekend before Thanksgiving. There is a lot of things that are bad about this place. If you but tickets online you still have to wait in two lines, three if you didn't buy the tickets online. It took about 30 to 35 minutes to get out of the lines before you can actually have ''fun".Not just the lines are crowded, the whole place is crowded too.Which leads to there being no space at all in any swim areas. There is very long lines to the big slides, and even the little slides in the kids area. The swimming areas are not sanitary.I saw a little kid pee right in front of my own eyes.I do not like the fact that the little kid did that.No kids or adults in the play area follow rules.Everybody is shoving and telling people to hurry up.Some kids even stand in the end of the slide where they could hit you.If you are thinking about getting food fast there, that will not happen. You can barely walk around because there is to many people. The only thing I suggest you do there is going to the arcade. That is the only thing I liked there despite the great hotdogs. Please come before you buy season passes, and don't waste your money. This is my opinion for this water park,it will probably be the same for yours too. Overall a fun place just needs a few more activities a little more diligent lifeguards and better cleaning of bathrooms plus enable your system to accept your own gift cards There is no hot tub.just lazy river some slides a Kids area and flow rider. * the Water park is nice and in reality there really isint a ton of activities compared to Kalahari or great wolf. Felt need to call night before and verify. Had to do a chat session and give all info then hope they kept my info to guarantee us admission at door. Have to do at door but then you cannot reserve a day. * you cannot use a gift card online to buy tickets which was big inconvenience. * try to avoid weekends and if you do go weekend get there early as it gets packed. * not enough lifeguards and ones there didn't seem to be totally on game so be prepared to really keep eye out. * new place : clean (except for bathrooms) Some sites have sewer, and all sites fill up quickly in the winter months.First visit on 3/27/22. We have 40 campsites, each with water and electric. If you think it sounds like a lot to do, you’d be right, so why not take some time to really enjoy what the park and surrounding cities have to offer. Of course you can’t leave without seeing the state’s second largest live oak tree, which is approximately 400 years old. Call the ranger station to inquire about the availability of guided hikes. Animals commonly spotted in the park include racoons, bobcats, coyotes and even bears. Along the way you’ll have the opportunity to see several different habitats including swamp and sandhill. The park boasts two hiking trails totaling two miles in length. If you’d enjoy a less vigorous type of exploration, Concessionaire "Epic Water boat Tours" offer guided pontoon boat tours. If you’re not sure paddling alone is for you, that’s OK, we offer guided canoe and kayak tours. Anglers or birders may want to rent a canoe or a kayak to explore Lake Griffin’s marshes. Our park encompasses 620 acres and allows visitors to explore in several ways.
